Starting on September 1st, we will be opening enrolment for the Cambridge assessments formation courses 2023-2024 at LinguaPro Center.

Our Cambridge formation courses are designed for children and young adults who wish to plan for one of the Cambridge English exams, or for those who want to improve their language level for better communication.

English provides children with a multitude of opportunities in life, and many parents instill a passion for the language in their children from an early age. There are even international exams available for children in classes 0-4. 

As children grow older, they acquire new grammar and vocabulary skills, and through the Cambridge method, they naturally improve all four skills: writing, reading, speaking, and listening.

By enrolling in our courses, children can aspire to be admitted to prestigious international universities and even have successful careers. Cambridge exam certificates offer unimaginable opportunities!

Cambridge Young Learners English

Cambridge Young Learners English is a series of English language tests for children in Primary 1-4, designed to introduce them to international testing and motivate their English language learning efforts. The YLE series includes Pre-A1 Starters, A1 Movers, and A2 Flyers.

Candidates who take the A1 Movers or A2 Flyers exams receive a certificate with between 1 and 15 shields, which can be used to assess language proficiency for admission to grade 5 or an intensive English language program.

In YLE formation courses, children learn basic vocabulary and grammar through dynamic and fun activities. They are introduced to the construction of simple sentences, enabling them to express themselves more easily in conversation with other children. Through a step-by-step approach, children gain confidence and gradually become excellent English speakers.

Teachers monitor children's progress through regular testing and give recommendations to improve their results.

Regular in-house simulations are organized to help children become familiar with the exam atmosphere.
 

Cambridge English - A2 Key (KET)

Cambridge English - A2 Key (KET) is designed for individuals at the A2 level who are capable of using English to communicate in simple situations.

It is the first exam in the Cambridge English suite and the certificate obtained is equivalent to the language proficiency test for admission to Year 9 bilingual or intensive English classes.

Additionally, A2 Key for Schools exam is available and aimed at the same CEFR level as the A2 Key but with content aimed specifically at school-age students.

The A2 Key exam formation course is appropriate for children in grades 5 and 6.

Mastery of English at an advanced level can enhance children's academic success. The A2 Key course enriches children's vocabulary and grammar knowledge while also enhancing their listening, reading, writing, and speaking skills. 

Cambridge English - B1 Preliminary (PET)

The B1 Preliminary Certificate (PET) is the first exam in the Cambridge English suite that can serve as the equivalent of the Baccalaureate language proficiency test and is also acceptable for admission to secondary school. The B1 Preliminary Certificate is recognized internationally and remains valid for life.

There is also the B1 Preliminary for Schools exam, designed for school-age students at the same CEFR level as the B1 Preliminary. Both are critical for individuals seeking to progress to the next level of Cambridge exams - FCE (First Certificate in English).

The B1 Preliminary (PET) courses are structured for teenagers in grades 7-8 and 9-12, with various groups depending on the age of the students.

During the course, students build confidence in their abilities and expand their vocabulary and grammar knowledge. Communication skills improve, and progress is noticeable.

To help students pass the exam, teachers provide tips and tricks, such as writing techniques for the writing test and strategies for rephrasing oral messages to demonstrate better fluency.  

Regular tests familiarize students with exam criteria, and feedback and recommendations are provided for ongoing improvement. 
 

Course details are as follows:

Structure: 2 sessions x 2 hours per week
Duration: 6 modules of 10 sessions each (total 120 hours)
Period: 20 September 2022 - 16 June 2023 (school holidays and public holidays are taken into consideration)
Venue: Partner schools / LinguaPro Brasov / Online
Timetable: Flexible, adapted to children's schedules
Price: 2.640 lei/year + course support (22 lei/hour) for six modules at 440 lei/module. 

10% discount for full payment.
50% discount for family members.
Regular Cambridge Exam simulations are included in the price.

For online courses, the structure remains the same.
